Maxim becomes a Thrive Auckland sponsor
Maxim Group has taken a new initiative and become a sponsor of the newly branded Thrive Auckland event to be held at the Aotea Centre on 3 May 2006.
“We’re thrilled to have refreshed the brand for such a reputable business event,” said Maxim’s Managing Director, Lezlie Mearns.
Maxim also has a speaking spot and Lezlie sees this as this as a perfect opportunity to challenge peoples’ thinking about branding.
“Organisations often misunderstand that the brand experience is present every time a customer has contact with their business,” said Lezlie. “And I imagine that 100% of businesses and organisations want that experience to be positive.”
“If we can encourage even a handful to view branding from a whole of business perspective they will end up being more competitive because of it.”
Lezlie will be joined by some of New Zealand’s business leaders including Michael Hill, founder Michael Hill Jeweller; Craig Norgate, managing director Rural Portfolios; John Allen, chief executive New Zealand Post; Trelise Cooper, fashion designer; and Greg Murphy motorsport driver.
Thrive Auckland is promoted as the ‘big day out for business people’ and for the third year running it is expected to be a sell out.
The event has been specially designed to move away from the usual structured conference atmosphere into a more theatrical setting, giving it an air of informality.
It is the place to hear inspirational advice and strategies from world class entrepreneurs, sporting greats and some of New Zealand’s best creative talent.
With over 2000 people expected at this year’s Thrive, it is a ‘must attend’ event in order to take advantage of the numerous network opportunities with like-minded people.
